Default Straight Shaving Makes It All Better

So I have to give some setting first. Living in Canada the roads are still a little icy. Well this morning I hit a patch of it, spun sideways, and had the snow act as a ramp to propel the front end of my car onto a concrete barrier. After spending a couple of hour waiting for a tow truck I had it hauled to an auto shop and had to shell out money to fix it. I..was..P***ED.

Thank god I am a straight shaver. Whiel waiting at the auto shop I get a call from the man Robert Williams himself regarding an email I had sent him asking me if I wanted him to build me a razor. I don't think I need to tell anyone on here how much that brightened up my day. I could actually spend some money on something that would bring me joy. So my mood is about level. Well I get home and waiting for me is a pickup slip from the post office. My new Schwarweisskeramic skuttle has arrived.

Somehow my straight shaving hobby turned a terrible day into a happy day. Thank you shaving gods!!

I'm sorry, but if I wrecked my car I'd still be mad as hell.

Fortunately the car isn't wrecked. New engine mount and new tierod. All in all I was pretty lucky. Funny enough I spent more money this month on shaving gear than my repairs cost.
