    Default SRP Philosophies

I have come across some good philosophies whilst roaming the forum. Here are some that have stuck out to me.

Chimensch: before agreeing to be your razor, all new razors demand a blood sacrifice. So, my advice is to give the blood willingly. It will teach you good technique and it will form a bond of love and respect with your new razor.
pcb01: what exactly are you afraid of? Failing? That is a given. You will fail repeatedly. But your failures will become less and less frequent. And each one will be necessary. Embrace all of them
JohnnyCakeDC: I hold off on shaving for a few days so when I finnaly do I feel like I just got my bell rung by Salma Hayek. Yeah, I think I'll go grab some time with my Bengall
These came from a single thread, and are seen as wise by this newbie. Feel free to add your own wise nuggets of knowledge as they relate to shaving and life in general.

This one is very important too. I don't have experience, but I can imagine.
My advice would be take your time. Don't grab your razor and think that you will have BBS in 5 minutes. Concentrate, and don't talk while shaving you upper lip.

One that came from Randydance was "patience and persistence" and the best one from Lynn, "Have fun."
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

unless you're doing a rooster shave, in which case my nugget of wisdom is:

    DON'T USE A SPIKE POINT!

there's a horrible story behind that, so just take my word for it.

I guess some little 3/8s or something that isn't heavy enough to lop off little jockeys would probably be a safer bet.

I wonder how many men have driven into hospital with their tackle on ice like people do with their fingers
