Thread: Mammabear

Just thought I'd let you know how wonderfull mammabear (Sue) has been treating me. I mailed her because the Dragonsblood seems to make me have some sort of allergic reaction and tingles and everything.

So she offered to simply send me another soap and included two more as a wedding gift. For no charge whatsoever. I've heard that it's not unusual for small vendors to give this kind of service. I wish every salesman could give service like this. I can tell you that I'll be trying mammabear's products for the rest of my life even if it'll cost me all of the money that I will be spending on soaps for the rest of my life.

I went to her website a while ago and it says Dragons Blood not available due to allergic reactions.

I wasn't going to say anything because I thought it was just me but when I used it it burned me also. I usually never get irritation from shaving either. Liked the smell though.

Dragon's Blood worked fine for me, no irritation what so ever.

I also have had no problems with the dragonblood - great smell!

that wasn't really the point of this thread though. The point was that she went way out of her way to make up for it.

To the point of even taking the listing off website and listing WHY

Yep, she garnered the same kind of loyalty out of me thanks to her absolutely stellar attitude. This lady is one-in-a-million and you're missing out if you don't deal with her at least once in your shaving career

I went to her website to order some and there were so many choices. All of them looked good. I got confused. Reading posts and taking a consensus then go back and order. May just go back, close my eyes and point.
