Thread: n e 1 sniping this?

My Son's Birthday is coming up and I am trying to find something within the budget of the money I've set aside. I'm thinking of trying for this one on ebay (click here to see it ) and then, depending on what they charge, send it to either Bill, Joe, or Vlad to get a new set of scales installed, and possibly a designer box for it if I have enough left over after the scales.

Anyone sniping or bidding on it? If so I'll look for something else. Please let me know If you are. If not I'll put a low bid in and try my luck at the end of the auction since I'll likely be outbid first time around. Thanks.

Wow...that's a beauty. I just won one very similar to it. No worries about me sniping it. I'm broke. lol Need to do some more work and sell some more razors.

I can't believe it. That thing went for $170 Some dude put in what appears to be a huge maximum bid. I realized it during the last half hour of the auction as i watched one person run his bid up with repeated attempts.

It is a nice razor but like Lynn said, not worth anywhere near that much.

That sucks, FUD. If you still want a razor for your son's birthday let me know, I'll sell you one of mine cheap. Won't be as unique as that patriotic one, but I can guarantee that it'll be sharp and serviceable and won't cost you an arm and a leg.

I wouldn't normally sell one off just now (and this offer is only for FUD) but I hate to see birthday plans get foiled like that.

I checked Bill's website and am working with Lynn and Robert to see if I can find something with decent engraving that he'll like. My one backup was bought by someone else in a "buy it now" while I was still wallowing in disbelief and self pity . There's another with a cool engraving but auction doesn't end til friday which would put everything short on time to get it finished the way I want for him.
