    Default Friour vs Rudolf Stehlo

Is the Rudolf Stehlo Rost Frei comparable to the Friodur INOX, or is one noticeably superior to the other?

    Tom,

That's a tough one. I have one of each and from a shaving standpoint, I really can't tell the difference. I think the Friodurs may have been made by a slightly different process than the Stehlos (ice hardening??). I'm sure that someone who knows better will weigh in. The Friodurs have a much better name/brand recognition so that may be why they're more sought after.

    Hi,

for some time there have been Stehlo razors on Ebay in Germany, that were said to be made from Friodur blanks that are ground by Mr. Stehlo. But I don't know if this applies to all stainless Stehlo razors (btw. "Rost Frei" means stainless, just in case you didn't know )....
