Thread: My current collection

I just thought I'd share with you guys the *one* razor I own... after all, I only need ONE razor, ONE strop, ONE brush, etc (remember? <grin>)

I thank you all for lightening my wallet and contributing to the delinquency of... well, certainly not a minor.



Top to bottom, left to right: Double Duck Pearlduck Goldedge, Morley 4/8 spike point, Kronpunkt 4/8 oblique, Tuckmar 4/8 frameback, genco 4/8 (well, a hair over 4/8) spike, Heljestrand oblique (project razor Vlad sent me to work on, I'm proud to say it's in my rotation now), black king 5/8 spike, Wade and Butcher 5/8 spike, revisor 5/8 round point.

Oh, and two Vlad boxes.

Not shown, 6/8 Geneva spike (stashed at fiancee's house), Dovo 5/8 round point (appropriated by fiancee for her legs) and a 5/8 spike (can't remember the maker, it's an American blade) appropriated by my future stepdaughter for her legs.

Oh, paddle strop, two hanging strops (stepdaughter stole my first one), brushes, scuttle, etc not shown.

I blame all of you. Not a bad collection for a newbie, eh?

A couple of those look familiar.

Lol, they should... let's see, the revisor and kronpunkt are from Gary, the Heljestrand is from Vlad, I got the black king and W&B both from eBay and the rest are from... drumroll please... Joe. I think you've honed every single one of them except the Kronpunkt, the Heljestrand and the Revisor.

Once I'm done restoring all these razors I have (gunna take some time) I can get some pix up too.

man I guess Im fallin behind currently I only have 4 straights and only two in my rotation. I definitely have trouble lately bringing myself to use anything smaller than 8/8"
