i couldn't recommend any.. the one time i tried an electric.. was miserable.. if he loves the electric he has.. then you should leave well enough alone.. get him a nice bottle of 'lectric shave or something.

Point out the long hair on his neck and recommend any type of wet shaving to cure it.

I used to use a Braun, and had good luck with it except when it broke.

I have a Nerelco I've used to keep my head shaved. Not a bad tool, water proof and cleaning it is a snap. You might want to look into those and Braun. After those two manufactures, I don't know of any others.

If your Dad (Uncle) is using a rotary get him a Norelco, if he is using a foil I'm going to have to recommend the Remington.
Your price range is too low to get a decent Braun, and they are not that good anyways.
You can not, and I repeat, can not get him a foil if he likes a rotary, and vice a versa.
Your best all around bet is the Norelco, hands down. Especially considering the price point.

The wahl 5 star professional shaver is above and beyond the most durable and best shaver on the market. Every barber I know uses one including myself. And it's surprisingly inexpensive at around $50.

Panasonic makes some good ones. The last Electric I bought was quite a few years ago and it was an Eltron. At the time I thought it was the cat's meow in shaving-har har.
