I was 6 when I had a beard that made ZZ Top look well shaved..!

Nah, just kidding. I guess I could actually grow a beard when I was about 18 or 19..? I've never actually grown one though, the longest I can go without a shave is about a week and then I just have to shave. I really hate the feeling once the beard starts to thicken in!

I dont remember shaving as a teen but shaved in the military until I was 23. It takes me a two weeks to grow my goatee and about a month to make it really look good. My face grows hair almost to my eyes but its thin. Ive got a bald spot under my chin thats never had hair.

I'm 40 and still working on it - in reality, I'm a full blood Native American and it takes a couple of weeks to get a recognizable goatee/van dyke going. Under my chin grows pretty quickly (by comparison) but I never get much growth on my cheeks.

I had a full mustache when I was 19. I think I started shaving at 14 and the whiskers were just there one day and haven't changed that much except for the color changing these days.

I'm 35 and I have no idea if I can grow a beard. After a max of 4 days it becomes so scratchy and itichy I have to shave.

Thanks to everyone who posted! I didn't know acne could have such a long-term effect on beard grow, that's interesting. It seems like most people reached their full beard potential in their early to late twenties.
