Default Anyone Own or seen an 8/8 wedge?

Does anyone own or have you seen an 8/8 full wedge or at least something less than 1/4 hollow? Im interested in one, even if it needs work done to it, but I dont even know if they exist or were ever made...

I have a W&B For Barber Use 8/8 wedge. It's way less than a 1/4 hollow, but not a full wedge with no hollow. Pretty darned close, though.

I got it from Gary Alfonso (Traveller).

Actually, It's my favirite razor right now. I really enjoy shaving with it because it's so easy to control, and it shaves sooooo well!

The balance is really the key to it,and the fact that it has large scales, and the tang is large enough to really have good control over.

Oh, that, and it's a Wade & Butcher!!

Can you give me a description, picture, or markings from the razor so I know if I see the same model on ebay or wherever?

Default One pic is worth a thousand words

This is the only decent pcture I have at the moment, but it shows a 6/8 Silversteel at the top, a 7/8 Wade & Butcher wedge in the middle, and the 8/8 Wade & Butcher For Barber Use at the bottom.

All three of these are wedges that I got from Gary Alfonso, and I'm super pleased with all of them. I'm still working on the Silversteel, but the other two are my #1 and #2 favorite razors.

Amazing! I love that work on the spine. That's one unique razor.
