    Default My grandfather's old razors.

A few weeks back I was thinking about my great grandfather and that he always used straight razors until he lost his vision. So I decided to give my grandmother a call and asking what ever happened to his shaving equipment?
Unfortunately it turned out that his son decided he wanted to keep them as memorial so no luck there. But then my grandmother told me that she still has the razors left from my grandfather and was using them to remove stitching!!!

I told her to stop immediately and not touch the razors any more before I have had a chance to look at them. So this weekend I'm going to visit her and take a look at them. Hopefully I will struck gold or at least that they are not in such bad condition that they can't be fixed. I will get back to you all with hopefully pictures and some nice razors.

    Wish me luck!

Fingers are crossed for you. Just make sure you bring her something to cut those stitches out.

    A short update.

I wasn't able to go visit her this weekend but my brother went there and collected the razors for me. Hopefully he will send them to me soon and I can get back to you with more info.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
