Thread: An exciting new SRP feature just for you!

In a continuing effort to bring you the best of everything the staff of SRP has spared no expense and effort to begin a new feature you are bound to value.

Have you ever wanted to know the true skinny on the razors we all use and love? No, I'm not talking about the unreliable misinformation you find in the few publications out there. I mean the true history concerning those classic razor makers and how they truly came to be and the human interest angle on it all.

We have commissioned Festus Folsum to travel the world and ferret out the true information. He and his goat will be getting the straight dope at the source through research at libraries, and interviews with the folks concerned and old company records and examination of famous old razors in museums around the world.

Besides, since Dr Spendur was permanently committed to the mental institution we needed to replace that feature.

So, in the coming weeks look for the introductory piece where you will learn all about that iconic English outfit Wade and Butcher.

I think after reading the first piece you will all be astonished by the revelations uncovered and related to you by the editor of our local Newspaper The Daily Rag namely Cornelius Dipslope.

Will Festus be visiting the fabled burgs of Solingen and Sheffield?

It a highly shortened version of an old vaudeville comedy routine probably going back to the 1920s at least. It was made famous by the comedy team of Abbott and Costello. I have the entire version if you want it.

Please let me know when he starts the Robeson research. I like to know when inquisitive people start poking around the neighborhood. I would hate to see him picking birdshot out of various parts of his anatomy..
