ok, I've gotten about a dozen razors. Several of which are now decent shavers. I bought a norton, i bought a strop, i bought a coticule and 3 kind of diamond pastes. I am now using english shaving cream and shaving lotion..
Trouble is i still Want! I want a nice paddle strop, i want a 3" haning strop. I want more meat cleavers, i want........
I need you all to tell me "Trapper, its more important to get out of debt than to by more shaving stuff"!!
Geez, just 6 months ago i was happy to shave 2 time a week in the shower with a Mach 3!

Thanked: 8Trapper, you have been assimilated, resistance is futile. You are now part of the straight razor collective.

Well my friend you are not alone out there. My wife now complains that I spend to much time in the bathroom and tells me that I don't have to shave. It wasn't to long ago that she complained that I also needed a shave. Yes we seem to have gone overboard with the whole concept, but the thing I noticed is that this hobby/craze has stuck.

You need to start thinking about a new brush too.

Now that that's done, I'm off to Classic Shaving to drool over the super badgers.

Trapper,
Remember you can never be too thin, too rich or have too many razors...

It's MUCH worse. At last count I'm up over 60 razors, 4 brushes, and 14 creams. I also have 4 hones, two hanging strops, 2 pasted strops, and a bunch of polishing equipment. This doesn't count the stash of wood I've put down for the purpose of making scales, the dremmel and accessories for restoration....etc. The really sad part is that I try to exert substantial control over my shaving purchases.
Oh yeah, and I've only been at this since late November of 2005.
Just another data point,
Ed
