hello i did not dissappear, just went to hawaii for a while. i am a disabled vet and i love straight razors, but was forced to sell of 500 of my razors in order to survive not being able to work anymore. all is stable now, and i am wanting to get back to collecting unusual celluloid razors and metals like aluminium and sterling silver, and brass(classics only). thanks for the nice comments from others. have a blessed day and a great shave!

we went to oahu, for my cousins wedding but decided to stay for a few weeks. i couldn't even find any small antique or second hand stores. i did see a few new razors, made in japan, with native hawaiin woods. very pricey though, since they were in a mens shop in a hotel (450-650). i am thinking of buying an acre of land to build on in ten years or so to retire there. weather is amazing and rarely changes more than ten degrees in either direction.

Good to hear you're well enough to join us. Without your health, you have nothing.
