    Default Check out these puppies!

Just got my dubl duck with the faulty scales on them back from Gary (aka garythepenman), and as the title says check out these puppies!

The photos (as you can see) don't do them justice. I really need to update my camera or learn to take better photos.

So thanks Gary, they look fantastic and anyone wanting new scales I would recommend them to do the same. Fast, friendly, and a really valuable contributor to this site! (I should be in advertising )

Glad you like 'em, thought you would

When you move the mahogony in the light it has golden flecks like a tigers fur ?.

So you reckon they are good enough for me to sell some then ?.

Cheers and keep up the advertising.

This is one of two razors that I own. I'm looking at updating my collection as my honing abilities improve. Most of the razors that I've seen have plastic scales and not much charactor. I think you quoted somewhere a ballpark figure of $35 for your scales (don't quote me on that) and for that price (or more) it has improved the look of the razor from something that looks pretty ordinary to a really nice piece that I will hang onto for a long time, and almost to the point that my wife wouldn't crack it if I left it on the bathroom bench for a while.

Could you sell them?... absolutely! I have my eye on a set of the Slim cherry scales you made for Trapperjohn for my next str8.
