Thread: Jacket Logo Poll

Well I havent received any entries for my logo contest BUT I was able to dig up the original logos in large enough sizes that we could use them if we wanted too. These could be used for jackets, tshirts, sweatshirts, etc...once they have the logo on file its as simple as just telling them where to put it and what you want it on. There are two different logos, which do you like better??

The logo on the LEFT or the logo on the RIGHT

I've been wanting to put something together, but I've really had no ideas of what to do. That and I have other things that are higher up on the priority list right now.

Both of those logos do look great. However, I voted for the one on the right, it's just nicer IMO. However, having SRP and "Straight Razor Place" seems a little redundant. Perhaps the current logo could be adjusted. Get rid of the SRP, fold the razor down in it's place, and have an upside down triangle instead of diamond? Just an idea.

it was be easy enough to change the colour of the scales on the LEFT razor. the yellow scales don't match any gold in the emblems. you couldn't make that handle a gold with black flecks tortise shell in about 30seconds. perhaps it would improved?

I like them both as well.

I mean I guess I could put one on the front of the jacket and one on the back...not sure if that would look weird though. So far the poll is neck and neck...you buts arent makeing this easy lol

Before I read this I was going to ask to change my vote from right to left. Now I'll just be quite.

I was the first to see the two side by side after they were posted last night and had to stare at them for an hour, then sleep on it. They're both good logos. The one on the left is easier to read from a distance, but the razor has some unsettling Eschesque quality where it appears to be twisted. We can see the back of the scales, but the edge of the blade ... weird. The logo on the right has class and while it might not be as easily identifiable, with the diamond shape, banner and clearly visible straight edge, it may make people look harder. In the end I voted for the one on the right.

Figured I hadn't been called a butt by anyone but my wife in a while, therefore better to be silent.

I'm so used to my wife calling me a butt that I didn't even notice it!

I guess I'm tuning that part of the noise spectrum out now.
