Thread: Cool find at a local grocery store

So my go-to grocery store is a really nice place called Wegmans, I know it's not in many areas but it is somewhat similar to a Whole Foods.

They have a pretty nice section with cookware, dishes, etc. and I happened to notice some very cool looking bowls as I was strolling around looking for some things. I ended up buying a small dish to use as my new lather dish for about 4 or 5 bucks. It's very simple and neat looking and best of all, it's my favorite color so it was a must have!

They also have them in red and yellow - it's working out perfectly for its unintended use (unintended for Wegmans anyhow). Take a look!

looks like a great, basic, functional bowl. i hate some of the bowls and mugs out there that just can't hold a good amount a lather and you just end up losing it. pretty nice looking color too.

Wegman's is much better than WholeFoods, at least mine is. They have nutella in big jars, that alone settles it all!

Unintended purpose? It just looks like a great shave lather bowl to me.

haha yeah I say unintended because it was mixed in with all of the plates and serving utensils definitely intended as a lather dish on my end

Why did you have to remind me when home is 2 hours away?
looks like an excuse to purchase more Nutella.

I really like the color of that bowl. I love repurposed items it is what makes this hobby so interesting.

I love Wegmans, and I love the two of those bowls that I have. Great for microwaving leftovers or making oatmeal. I like their plates too. All a touch on the expensive side, IMO, so I'm lucky an old roommate left some behind.
