It's finally finished. Mostly.

First, thanks are in order. Thanks to Lynn for the two razors etched with an eagle. Thanks to Lynn, Maestro Livi, and Tony Miller for the fine strop made with authentic Italian leather. Thanks to Robert Williams (PapaBull) for the fine work on the antler scales and etching the design into the backside of the blades.

The Missus and I finished up the box around 4:15 this a.m. I was going to have a neighbor do an invisible interlocking design but he didn't have the time so I decided to do cherry wood with ultrasuede lining. For those of you who want to insult ultraleather by calling it "pleather", do some research .

After the money for all the custom work, he'll have to settle for a generic mug, a puck of van der hagen and a boars hair brush. I'll save up for a badger brush for him later.

I have the pathfinder honed and shave ready but I still have a bit of honing to do on the imperial. The imperial originally had the tip longer than the rest of the blade and I had to even it out on about 1/3 inch on the tip so it's slow in evening out on the hone on that 1/3 inch.

Below are links to pics of the box and razors. All the pics of the strop were blurred and I didn't notice until I had them uploaded. I'll add pics of the strop later. I'm beat and have to get a couple hours sleep before the big party.

these are large pics so if you're using dial up they'll be slow.
