Dont be suprised if the shipping is $15 dollars. I checked a few sites and found excellent prices like that and shipping was $15.00, I hate it when they do that!
Edit: I just checked out the first link, shipping was not bad at all. $6.42 to Wisconsin, best price I have seen so far. Thanks for the link.Last edited by Sec162; 08-06-2006 at 06:05 AM.

Check out the 'Woodcrafters" website. I have seen these stores around the New England area. What I am getting at is, there might be one near where you live...this would negate the S/H fee's. Hands down, best price then!!!
~$65 is what I paid 4-5 years ago for my Norton 4/8K (and that was shopping around for the lowest price). I can not imagine finding them much cheaper today (unless someone is trying to get rid of their stock...)

Wow great shipping price.
I looked at a local Woodcraft store and they didn't even have the 4/8k stone but had a 8k and 4k and each was like $80 a piece =/

I bought my norton from lie-nielsen here in Australia and it was by far the best price I found anywhere. Ball park to what you are looking at paying (with the exchange rates and all).

Those are some nice prices for some wetstones. I am trying to find a place in Canada so the shipping will be prime for me. Any ideas from anyone? Or is there local stores to buy from. I did sign up and have the catalogue coming from Lee Valley.
