Great to hear there are other sellers like our Tonys (Miller and Holmes) out there on e-bay. Too bad more people don't realize the value of great customer service.

I had the same thing with a seller. phdew32. He refunded $6 of my shipping cost on 5 razors. It was two separate auctions, and he combined shipping, sending me the refund in cash with the razors.

In my case, Tony M just issued me a refund through PP once the shipping turned out to be less than he expected. Tony H always includes a friendly letter, which is also personalized if he already knows the buyer. He also sent me a couple of pieces of English yew for scale-making after he's done some splitting for his own use. Not to forget the DE that Tony M sent me free of charge. Helped me convert a friend from fusionism, get a few shaves and now it's back across the border, doing more missionary work.

It's nice to hear some positive stories about eBay sellers occasionally, what with all the eBay bashing that goes on around here. I feel like an eBay apologist half the time.

Notice, though... when it's a positive story with a seller that goes the extra mile it's all about what a great person they are and how they run a good business but when the seller is a douchebag it's all about what a crappy joint *eBay* is. Food for thought

Glad you had a good experience. I wish all our sellers aspired to that type of standard.

I went the extra mile for a buyer one day and even ended up paying money out of my pocket to ship the item and I get nothing in return. No thank you or positive feedback. Grrr
