    I'm not sure it was designed to ever hold a straight. It would work fine for a DE or cartridge razor though.

    My guess is that it is a DE stand. Not meant for straights at all.

    well i know im not as gentle on my razor as some of you guys are but i would never ever abuse the poor thing by puttign it in that death trap of a stand. Who ever designede that needs to give up on the idea.

    Isn't that for making those pencil thin 'John Waters' style mustachios, or the racing stripe beards the young ones are wearing these days? The new "Chipmeister 9000" razor stand knocks out gaps in just the right places.

    There aren't. But there are "razor shaped objects" floating around; Mach(ery), Hydro, etc. (Not to knock DE's. My fatboy's my friend, especially on the road...for now anyway)

    Maybe they intend it as a torture device. You show it to all the razors you usually use and say, "See what happens to the bad razors that don't shave well? Nick me once and you're going in The Stand..."
