I shared this nugget with the guys at the Toronto meet so figured would share with all. BARBER COLLEGES, yep look for ones that have been around a long time as they used to teach students not only how to shave with a SR but also how to maintain the SR. You need to have good communication skills (silver tongue devil) but if your nice and can convince the person in charge to let you look through old storage rooms it can pay off big. I think whoever was the head instructor back when had one or two brands of razors he felt were superior and those were the brands he bought for the school. That is how you can come away with a big box all of the same razor and sometimes some nice hones, usually just barber hones though. So far every razor found this way had been stored with oil on the blade they required some scrubbing to get the caked oil off but nothing to hard.

To the guys in the GTA I have been to almost all of them here just not any out in Mississauga or west of the downtown area.
