My Rose Damascus by Maestro Livi
It just arrived 5 mins ago. Comes in a box with a certificate and a CD of the man himself.
The blade is better than I imagined. Thanks Lynn, this is a razor I shall cherish and hand down to my son.
I'll shave with it tomorrow and give a report.

Also, I believe the original plan was for you to make scales for the beauty as well, right? So we need the before/after

Well here are the pics. I'm stunned by the razor.
I watched the videa of Mastro Livi making a damascus blade. It is not until you see it and realise the skill, passion and pride that he has in his craft do you realise that you own something special. It brought a tear to my eye.
Would I fork out $500 for another one ?.....In a heartbeat.
When...As soon as you guys by buckets of scales to pay for it.

Pondering exactly how many sets of scales that would be...and if that qualifies as an excuse to buy more....its sort of like a donation really more than a purchse...hmm...wonder if the wife would buy that one....
