15 minutes is about the norm for me. On the occasions that I go into the bathroom thinking I'm going to rush through it, i find once I get started that I sub-consciously slow things down. I tend to lose track of time once i get started.

You've heard the one where the young bull says: "let's run down there and hang out with one of those cows" and the old bull says: "let's walk down and hang out with them all".

    Take your time, enjoy.
    Hang out?
So that is what they call it in VA.
I have nieces and nephews in VA... I think a
call to their Mom and Dad is in order.

Well.... you know... seasoned 'veterans' can fill in enough of those blanks to get the drift of it...

I could tell the Red Foxx story about the 3 GI's - ummmm... better not...

Up until the last few days, I've averaged well over an hour. But very recently, I've gotten some extremely good shaves in under 30 minutes. I guess the skill level is finally catching up. And I've taken Sham's (hi bud gl)advice -- spend more time with X-grain strokes and you don't need to do the painful and time-consuming ATG ones. It's working!

Flying down to Cape Girardeau this weekend to learn more from the pro's pros. Plus I'll have Nun2Sharp's undivided attention for two hours down and two hours back. Can't wait!
