Thread: Shave Like A Pro?

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has seen this How to shave like a pro and stop razor burn. Save a fortune! ? And if they have, what's his method? I mean his soap method? He claims to never get razor burn and uses a disposable for 173 days? I mean come on... Anyways I'm interested in what he is using for soap because it might transfer quite well over to straight razor use. And to the benefit of us all... I feel evil... Lol

I think the author's statement, "here's my disclaimer out in the open. I am not making any promises about the results you may or may not get" should help clear up any questions over the veracity of the claims made on that page

I didn't have to even look at the link to know that one razor over a 173 day span is hogwash.

If a person could stay with one razor, one soap, one strop, and one brush you could save quite a bit.

I know I know it's all suspect and it's one of those sites that is meant to get an email list. But ya never know if he's got some soap method that's actually good? I donno lol.

While I totally agree I'm still curious. But yea 173 shaves lol yea right.

That was a big "if"...let us know how it goes & how much you "invest" on such a money saving product...

Invest lol. I was hoping someone already had. I'm kinda scared to give that guy my email address let alone a dollar lol

Before I switched to DEs and Straights, I routinely got at least 60 good shaves out of cartridges with no special soap. I just kept the cartridges dry and didn't even try to buff them like some do.

Given your exceptional way with words, I have a very difficult time imagining you saying "whatever!" And yet, when I do, it's with your syrupy voice emulating a valley girl. It's very disturbing.
