Thread: Razor research

After reading all the posts, and listening to the astounding insight you guys have towards not just razor identification, but background as well; I must ask, Where do you guys get such detailed information on the razors laid out all over the website? Surely, it cant just be google. I appreciate the knowledge, and would like to learn what i can in this respect as well. Any tips as to where i should start?

In a variety of ways.

Some by just handling many from the same manufacturer, some guys get really interested in this stuff and research and learn and have source materials, and some have the few publications concerning this stuff.

Realize much of this stuff has been accumulated through the efforts of many over time. Probably 10 years ago most of this was unknown and researching this would have been a real job and a half. (I speak from experience there)
