So the Ebay post said gorgous Boker, King Cutter, never used with original box in mint condition. So I follow the auction and notice, hey one hour to go and only 4 bidders and only $35.00. Something has to be wrong but the pics looked great so why is the price so low and no one is bidding. So I win the auction, 36 bucks for a mint King Cutter, wow this must be my lucky day!

So today I get the razor and sure enough its a mint boker King Cutter, still has the Gold Leaf on it just a bit of staining on the spine from storage nothing great though. Why its as close to mint as can be, what a find oh did I mention the 32nd of an inch chip at the toe of the blade? It looks like someone used the toe to pry something open. To think that someone would ruin such a truly great razor.

Part two of this post will be in the restoration forum. LOL

Make sure that chip does not come with a complimentary crack!

I would renegotiate a price or file a complaint that is just insane to say it was mint and never used...what BS!!

Well if I had paid what I think the razor is actually worth I would raise a stink with the buyer but 35 bucks for that razor is really still a steal even with the chip. I can hone it out no problem. I did a little polishing on the blade last night and the blade shines like a mirror now. Its a really outstanding razor. But you are right the description was rather bogus.
