Just saying Bye (for now)
Well I am off for boot camp tomarrow, so I thought I would post tonight incase I don't have time in the morning to do it. I expect it to be a fast two months since you are doing stuff every day all day. Maybe I can get some pics at graduation with me in my uniform to share with everyone. So far I am not nervous at all but maybe by the time I get there or get on that airplane I will be. I will find out soon I have never been on a plane before so that will be another first for me but I kinda look forward to it. I am hoping I don't get motion sick because I do pretty easy on a boat (LOL I know, going into the Navy and I get sea sick) but maybe it will be pretty smooth.
I already miss my razors because I left everything at my dads to store stuff until I can get everything back. I also hope they will allow SR on base so that is something I will have to find out about. Personally I don't see a problem since its a shaver but you just never know. I decided to stick with the Schick while I am in boot camp since I do get a pretty good shave with it plus my new knowledge of how to shave properly helps also I think.
My parents should be getting me a camera so I can take pics of things as a cruize around the globe doing stuff so I hope I can get some good stuff to share here so maybe ya'll can see the Tax Dollar going to some good use hehe My school will be in Texas for just over 3 months then I should get orders to go to my more permanent base. I am hoping for California... ALOT ! I have never been and would like to spend some time there to see other parts of the world.
My parents are proud. I can tell. My mom is like every mom that is nervous, scared, but proud her baby is growing up to do something like serving his country and becoming a Man.
Even though I will be a support person in the Military I will do my best at my job. My job will be to sometimes take care of the front line soldiers out there and keep them comfortable or a cool place to sleep, or possibly helping one of you one day in a Crisis or Natural Disaster. Who knows right now but I am looking forward to what lyes ahead.
Well take care everyone and I plan to be back drueling over new soaps and razors soon hehe. And dying to get mine back too Grr.
Bye for now

Larry, good luck in the Navy. We are proud of you for joining and serving your country. Boot camp will be OK just remember to tolerate all that is thrown your way and don't take any of it personally and you will do OK. Those guys like to push you as far as they can just to see if you can take it. It will be one heck of a learning experience but I know that if you put your mind to it you can do it.
San Diego would be nice, don't you know. I spent the early 70's out there.
GOOD LUCK!!!if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.
