I definitely would, but I don't think I'm experienced enough to comment on the articles faults. I just know it is really bad. Perhaps one upstanding member could take care of this as I'd hate for people to actually think that is how you shave correctly.

Thanked: 9I am sorry I didn't check this thread earlier - between work, gym, scouting ebay and honemeisters' sites
Even though I have only 3 straight shaves completed, the article is CRAZY! Not sure what to use: or
Can't freaking believe this comes from the Art of Shaving guy - guess they are CLUELESS there! Someone should educate these guys - I agree it should be someone with more experience.

Thanked: 2My understanding is that maxim is open to free lance applications. Perhaps if someone were to write a quality article on the straight razor shave, it could get published. Have you seen what they do with letters to the editor? Mostly make fun of them in the first few pages of each issue. I think a well written article and pics or diagrams that look like the post date 1974 would be great. I know we've got a few writers in the group.
Perhaps, if you're going to write a letter, it should go to AOS, for helping to spread mis-information about a mothod of shaving that seems rather important, as far as their business is concerned.
Oh, and I couldn't read the article, it came up as a single page with diagrams, but the print was far too small.

go down to the bottom right of the article wait for a box to pop up and click on it...that will enlarge it to full screen.

Thanked: 2The article shows up as a (clearly scanned) page that takes up about half of my screen. I cannot "go" anywhere. No scrolling, links, buttons or cursors. Nothing. My connnections been a bit slow lately, maybe that has something to do with it.

yeah, I scanned it in, and left it at the quality and size it was. Sorry that it is about 1MB.
