Thanked: 114A bad night in the diyguy household
I’m in a bad mood. I dropped one of my favorite shavers on the floor last night and created two chips near the toe. I’m sure this happens to everyone, but I can’t help but be a little irritated with myself. It took me over two hours sulking and cursing in front of my hones before the razor was back in working order. The razor has a pronounced smile now, but I assure you she’s the only one grinning. Argh.

Ouch, I'm sorry. I'm glad that you saved it though (pics?) You are correct it does happen to most of us here.
Not me, I'm perfect. That one time was a temporary increase in the gravitational pull, not my fault.

Thanked: 240Look on the bright side you were able to get it back in working order. Many times a drop results in two or more pieces of scrap that used to be your razor. You can still shave and enjoy yours and you did not cut yourself trying to catch it... Two major upsides.

Brian,
That sucks dude. Your welcome to come buy that TI you were ooogling while over at my place. I'll sell it cheap just to help you recover a bit.

Thanked: 114Thanks, Alan. Where would we all be without RAD-enabling friends like AFDavis11?
There is one nice thing about RAD, though --- there always seems to be a new razor (or strop, or hone, or brush, etc) in my mailbox to help recover from the mishaps from the day before. I’ve spent considerable “recovery time” on the bay and SRP Classifieds recently so I should be set for a while. If my mailbox starts to feel neglected or if I break another prized razor, I just might come inquiring about your TI.
Thanks, pal. :-)

Don't let it get to you. We've all done it at one time or another or worse. it all goes with the territory.

I had a razor that I hadn't even gotten to shave with and my dad dropped it. That was an irritating day. Glad yours is still usable.

Well, at least you were able to get her back, sometimes that is not an option. Live and learn. Hold on to the razor! (yeah, I know, we all become careless). I once dropped one and I'm lucky I didn't cause serious damage catching it.
