Thanked: 1145 blades are better than one
OK, now that I got the attention of all the Fusion users ………
I’m curious: what’s the maximum number of razors you’re shaved with in one session?
I honed a number of razors this weekend and found myself on Sunday morning actually shaving with five different razors in an attempt to shave test a group of them. I had fun trying out all the different makes and models, but I did find it a bit odd (and excessive) to be shaving with five razors at one time.
Please tell me I’m not the only crazy person who’s tried this.

I do the same if I've honed a whole bunch that are due to go back to their owners. Otherwise they are there for ages before they get tested and mailed..!
I've probably shaved with 5 or 6 in one shave, just one pass with each. After that I start running out of face.
That's the only problem with honing for other people. You get to shave with every razor out there except your own..!

I think during one marathon honing session I wound up test shaving with 4 razors.

One. If it isn't right I stick with it and go down with the ship. I may not hone well, but I'm loyal to my work.

5-6 sounds about right. I once tried more than that, but it wasn't worth the effort. I actually started cramping from stropping.

Given the current max listed I feel quite odd sharing mine... 12 at one go wouldn't be unusual for me when I'm shave testing. I think my max is 16.

Nope, my face is quite small. And I only do one pass. It only takes an inch long stroke to know if a blade is there or not. I also got out of the habit of doing the series of short overlapping strokes. I think the way you shave makes a big difference in how many you can use at once. Also, on a visit to Lynn he showed me how he divides up his face, and that gave me a very good jumping off point.
For me, using one razor for my whole dace deels VERY strange.
