Dubl Duck? on Ebay
Can you really call this a Dubl Duck? I'm a newbie and it looks more like a Duck and a half to me.

And following that logic is this a Goose?

Holy crap, that second duck is huge! Man I wish I had that one. Though, the duck I'm working on now I think started out as 7/8. It has a fair (but not outrageous) amount of honewear on it and it's still 6/8+.

The huge Dubl Duck seems to have a long crack at the toe end just below the spine!! Beware!!

Yesterday I PM'ed the seller about this line that I think might be a crack, but he hasn't bothered to answer.....

Its hard to tell from the foto if its a crack or not but the surface of the blade just doesn't look right to me. Not the usuual highly polished DD. One thing for certain its probably an 8/8s and those are mighty rare items to come up for auction. I think buying that straight is a real leap of faith.

Thanked: 324That is an 8/8 Dubl Duck Goldedge. I know because I've got one. I think the one on Ebay does have a serious crack at the toe, though. Too bad becuase those are damned hard razors to find. It's much more rare than the wonderedge.
