Thread: Quotes about Straight Razors

I'm putting together a blog post about straight razor shaving and I need a quote to plug in somewhere. Then it occured to me to search for quotes from movies. This is the only one I could come up with.

Kurtz: [intercepted radio message] I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor. That's my dream; that's my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight razor... and surviving.

Not exactly what I was hoping for in order to inspire someone to join the world of straight razors.
Anyone else have a famous quote or a line from a movie to share?

None from a movie but ... from the title page of W. Somerset Maugham's "The Razor's Edge" ..... "The sharp edge of a razor is difficult to pass over; thus the wise say the path to Salvation is hard."

The late columnist Dorthy Parker on suicide in particular and razors in passing ;

Thanks Jimmy. I decided to use one of my own quotes, admittedly not a great one. Let me know what you think about my blog post. I was trying to be brief and not overwhelm someone new to the straight edge.
Shaving with a Straight Razor

Nice write up, love the pic of Beethoven. I must admit though, if they develop light sabers to shave with in my lifetime, I'm liable to switch.
