Thanked: 8Joe Chandlers razors
This could go under many forum headings.
I just got two straights from Joe's "shop".
The condition of both are splendid, better than imagined.
The edges are fantastic, shaved with an Army & Navy this morning..smoooooth.
Delivery to NZ was quick and the prices very affordable.
So not only does Joe offer a good selection, they are extremely well priced and he is a "honemeister" coz those babies are sharp.
Thanks Joe. I'll be buying more. I like spending my money with trusted shaving accoutrement vendors.

The razor I recieved from Joe was better than the photo, was extremely sharp(the beveled edge is a thing of beauty to look at and shaves really good.
Price of razor is fair and delivery was quick.
Thanks Joe

I am curious who bought the 7/8 reground Westenholm? How did it shave? Come on people I can not afford another razor besides my 5/8 Henckels #415 I started with until Christmas. I need to live through the shaving joy of others.

Thanks for all the kind words. I thought I'd take this opportunity to give you all my philosophy on my razors. My reputation rides on each and every razor I send out. Unfortunately (depending on your point of view), because I do so many (and thank you all for the wonderful business!) they don't often get "shaken out" as thoroughly as I would perhaps like. Each one is shave-tested, but probably doesn't get tested alone. And the hair on my face only grows so fast. So, if you get a razor from me and it doesn't shave like you think it ought to, feel free to contact me. Send it back, I'll re-hone it, and pay to send it back to you, even. I appreciate all the people who have chosen to do business with me. It's a hobby I really enjoy, and I take pride in my work, so if it ain't right, I'll do my best to make it right.
Thanks for your business, and continued support,
Joe

Since someone created the thread I sing
praises to Joe as well.
I've ordered 3 razors from him and all
have proven to be outstanding razors.
I will recommend him anyone who is
looking for a shave ready razor.
Of course Bill and Lynn will get mentioned
as well.

Tony's Razors
Glad to hear that you all love Tony's razors. I've ordered a duck and the only reason I didn't shave thismorning was I was hoping it would be in the mail today
I'll let you all know how she shaves when it arrives

Thanked: 9Joe rules
My first razor (Hermann Hoppe Edgemont 5/8 spike) was from Joe and it was wicked sharp (still is, I only shaved with it twice). It was also such a good value (considering what honing and shipping cost) looked good (for the price) and arrived very fast.
Then Joe sent me another razor for free to practice honing (I am not saying this so that people start asking for free blades, just to let you understand the level of customer service).
I recently received another razor from Joe - Badaud 6/8 1/4 hollow barber's notch, horn scales - and it is very very nice. (Plan to shave with it tonight / tomorrow.) I should also say that I have trouble selecting one razor when I go to his site. Newbs cannot do better than a value-priced, shave-ready razor from Joe, but it seems experts (e.g. Gary) also find razors they like there. Great customer service! What more can you want?
Cheers
Ivo
