Default A barber near my house, shows me his private collection !

    Hello all ,

Been scouring my city here in Japan , to find a Japanese straight razor . Got a couple and to my surprise , one barber had all of this ! Sorry he was not interested in parting with any of them !

Is he retired or still practicing ? We get attached to stuff we used for years. I'll probably die with my ironworker tools even though I haven't used them in 20 years and never will again. Beautiful collection of razors.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Yes , he still cuts hair and gives shaves . His shaves are done
with the straights ( either style - western or Japanese) that
take the blade inserts . Too bad , very nice bloke and offered
    me some honing tips !

    Cheers
