    Default Ebay Loot

I bid on a lot of razors on ebay for learning to hone. I also got a free stone in the deal, check it out,

The first has The Peerless Razor etched on the blade, looks pretty much unused.

Second is a Genco, Geneva New York written on one side of the blade, and Gold Seal on the other side.

Third is some insert thingie, l'unique on the spline on one side, deposee written on the other. The blade has the damscus steel pattern on it...

The yellow plastic has no writing, lots of plastic.

And the stone, This side for speed written on the top, and This side smooths as it sharpens on the bottem.

I also received a one more with broken scales, no pics yet, I'm currently attempting to make up some scales for it. George Wostenholm & Son A D-1694, The original and gunuine pipe razor is marked on the blade. This razor is medium sized and quite heavy.

Now to see what I can do with them!

The third razor is called a Frameback. The blade is inserted into the frame of the razor. Occasionally they were designed so that the blade could be removed. Most cannot be removed.
They are very cool and shave well.
