Thanked: 66Hard lessons learned today
Lesson #1)last night I was doing some general cleaning and organizing of my collection (I only have about 10 so far) so I laid them out on a large piece of black felt from hobby lobby, I went home for lunch today and picked one of them up, and noticed the large amount of new rust, 6 of the 10 razors are badly rusted like the photos below. I am not sure what it was with the felt, or if something had soaked into it(it was dry and had been in a desk drawer for several years)
Lesson #2)
I immediately started a clean up with some sandpaper and oil, and pulled the tape off of a razor that I purchased several weeks ago. as you can see below the antique (mall) dealer had "hidden" the blade damage with tape. it sucks because in removing the tape I removed/scraped the evidence of which mall vender it was purchased from.

Thanked: 66hah, I am so stupid, I forgot I posted photos on the forums from the day I purchased them. I will print off the photo, and I still have the "bits" of paper from the sticker. I do plan on getting my measly $10 bucks back.
yeah, it's not much but it's the point of it.....
