Road Trip / Thank you Lynn!
I recently took a ride to Mr. Abrams home for some honing tips (had to see it in person). Lynn as most of you already know is a very gracious gentleman, taking the time to walk me through his entire DVD in person has knocked a considerable chunk from the learning curve. There is nothing like seeing every aspect of the sharpening process, in person, and from the man! Including a hands on tour of “the collection” (I was slobbering). As you can imagine it was quite enjoyable, and greatly appreciated!
Like most of you, I have a little acquisition disorder. Lynn, I’m sure knowing this (j/k), showed me his cache of Livi treasures. Needless to say I left Lynn’s that day with a new toy, a rams horn Livi/Takeda and all I can say is……….Damn! I find it a struggle not to use this wonderful tool every single day!!
I’m certain this man has other things to do with his free time, but it meant a great deal that he offered some of it to help me. I just wanted to publicly thank Lynn for taking the time, I won’t forget it.
Lynn, one more favor if it’s not too much to ask……….Since the Livi/Takeda has pretty much ruined me, would you please supply me (I’m outta money) with another 6 of these to complete a 7 day set? If this is pushing your limits of generosity please let me know. ; )
