Thread: Portland Oregon

Hi everybody i'm going to be in Portland for the next couple of days. I was hoping some of the locals or sombody in the know could give me some ideas of shaving/straight related places i could visit and shop. Thanks True01

I would check out escential soap company. they specialize more in scented oils and lotions, but they have a killer soap and cream. when used in conjunction with 5 drops of glycerin will make some of the best lather in some of the worst conditions.
I believe they are on Hawthorne, but mhorn or one of the Portland guys will have to confirm that for me.

They are on SE 36th and Hawthorne. While in that area, there is a Powells bookstore satellite, Bridgeport brewery, Stumptown (on Belmont) and you can catch a movie at the Bagdad (with a pitcher and a slice).

You may also consider Camamu soaps at 20th and Clinton, though I confess to only having a lot of experience using the bay rum/witch hazel aftershave.
