Thanked: 247I have received much knowledge, several shaving creams, a honing evaluation, a large donation to my Movember page, and probably a few other wonderful deals/bits/pieces I have failed to mention. I have tried to say thanks whenever possible, but I place a greater emphasis on not reciprocating, but rather paying it forward.
In that regard, I have gifted several razors, strops, soaps, a bit of knowledge, a few razor travel cases that my wife and I make, numerous gratis honings, and perhaps a few other odds and ends I forget.
For me, it is about helping those that need it, and not necessarily those that helped me....most of the guys that helped me, I wouldn't have a clue how to repay them, so I help others.
Regarding loaning stuff out and not getting it back...that's just bad form. It has sad repercussions also. I would love to continue to receive the opportunities I have enjoyed, and I'll continue to try to pay more forward than I receive (not sure it is possible to do this when it comes to knowledge, but I try).
