    Default Feather blade surprise

I converted my wife from her Venus to a Merkur DE last year. She is "young enough" to have once used a DE when she first started shaving. She began with Merkur blades which were OK. However, I recently surprised her by replacing the Merkur blade with a Feather just to see if she could tell any difference. She did! After her morning shave she asked me what I did to her razor and I confessed. She said that it was a superb shave under arms and on legs with no pulling at all. She claims that she can now wait a day longer between shaves.

I had to surrender all my Feather blades to her. Now what to do with all her Merkur blades?

Use them of course lol. I think merkur blades are good, not AS good as feather but still good.

You are quite right. She was fine with Merkur, but surprised by the Feather.

I use Dorco 301's, Feather, and now Merkur for my DE shaving. They all work well for me, but the Feather does seem to be a "cut" above the rest.

Not to worry...I've seen great deals on 100 pack feather blades.

Smart thinking on the switch. I'm going to try that as well for my woman.

I love my feathers. I have a few that I have found to be great. You should find her a nice sample pack and I'm sure she will have a hard time choosing what is best.

eBay for funds for a new straight. You deserve it.
