Default Any fancy cartridge handles for women?

    Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if you could help me out.

I'm looking for a nicer handle for my wife for her Gillette Venus cartridges. I bought a Trac II handle that was sort of gender neutral, but although shes not saying it, I think she prefferes her older pivoting head cartirdge. She seems to be nicking her legs with the tracII.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

P.S. shes tried a Weishi DE, but it didnt really turn her crank.

    Ryan

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep an eye out. Are you talking similar to the original SE razors?

I got my gal a schick injector about a year ago, and she didn't like that or my DE. At my place there were no other options for shaving, so she slowly started using them if she was here. She asked me to find her a ladies razor so I picked her up a ladies gillette off of the bay. After she got used to the learning curve it is the only one she uses. Especially since she only spends about $4 a month on new blades.

I think the Art of Shaving has a selection of fancy handles for cartridges:

The Art of Shaving | Mach 3 Razors

But I should declare a bias:

. . . The quality of the shave is determined by pre-shave prep, lather, and the sharpness and
. . . geometry of the blade and its holder.

. . . For any cartridge razor, the _handle_ doesn't change any of those things.

So I suspect the AoS handles are a waste of money. But I bet they're pretty.

Even more handles here (mostly cheaper than AoS):
