    Default How Long

How long after wet shaving did it take for you to start to love your den lol? Or is it still "just functional?"

Now that I have my blades and strops all hung up in my den along with all my other stuff in there as well, I catch myself walking in from time to time to just... well, just to look at my stuff. Perhaps even sniff a cream or two lol... it's crazy lol! It's my favorite room now though.

Heck in the next two years or so I am due for a move (need more land), and I am already planning out my den!!

You? You loving your den too? Was that a transition from an other room (my kitchen used to be my favorite)? Heck - who's put a t.v. in their den? : )

I would love it, if it existed.

I'm relegated to the main bath and a bottom drawer in the bedroom. I do get one whole shelf in the bathroom cabinet to store my scuttle, brushes, and a couple soaps.

Next house - basement with a thumbprint lock on the door to keep the wife and (hopefully) children out.

How about a retinal scanner w/a DNA sequencer and self-tracking automatic weapons?

My "den" is the spare 1/2 bath off the kitchen. Sink, commode, med cabinet and storage shelf above commode. ALL MINE (imagine evil laugh)! SWMBO likes to watch me use my Robeson (I don't know why) and will often stand in the doorway, but I really don't pay much attention to the surroundings.
The main loo has hinged mirrors, but I rarely shave there because the sink is rather shallow in comparison and I'm afraid of dinging my blade. I imagine that it would be a better shave den -- perhaps it's time to change a sink!

Plausible. That'll be for the armory though

My den is the hall closet where I keep my razors in a box or two and my strop hung on the inside of the door. The rest of the gear is in the main bathroom, main because it is the only one. I guess a den would be nice but this works.

Man - I knew there would be guys who had to share the den... but hall closets!! Dang lol!!

I guess I have it good right now with my own bathroom. Better get that move in soon though, I can't imagine that my daughter will appreciate sharing for much longer with her mom and brother lol! Then I'll be relegated to having to share with the wife... OH THE HORROR!

My shave den is shared with SWMBO, but at least I have my own sink. To me, it's just where I do my shaving, so it's more function for me than anything else. I added a 5x magnification articulating mirror that sees little use but is kinda cool when you find your eyes don't see close up so well anymore. But, for me, my favorite part is the heavy, vinyl hook I installed behind the bathroom door where I hang my SRD Premium strops. Space is tight there, so I hope no one opens that dang door while I'm stropping away madly. It's definitely a shared space except for when I'm shaving, then it's mostly mine for the duration.
