Thanked: 485I'm glad I checked this out. Guys at work have started already (which is a little unfair) and because I normally wear a moustache, soul patch and goatee (as little tiny undernourished separate entities) I've read the rules and decided to shave the lot off tomorrow with a straight. I'll have to get up early; I've been shaving with a straight for a little over a year but haven't never shaved the top lip or bottom lip for a few years (never with a straight) and the chin only once with a straight. Should be interesting. Actually, it won't be interesting at all after the shave, it'll take until November next year to grow this back, you know; and it's hardly visible now!

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Thanked: 247Why was my brain grinding all night trying to decide how to precede with this? It seems clear that I must simply shave my mustache and beard completely tonight and then grow only a mustache....why do I feel like I am going to regret shaving what has taken me so long to cultivate?

So I emailed the powers that be at work about this to get the word out to all the shifts and so people know where to donate. They are in the process of deciding if it's against solicitation policy and against dress code. Even though the doctor that's head of our department rocks a full beard and mustache.
I'm a sucker for a stamped tail. Giggity.

Re: Movember 2012!!!
The network is global (not location specific) I have created an Aussie team too that you might be getting confused with?
I tried to make a global team but it doesn't work cause it goes off the originators location. However someone in Tue US and CA can create teams for that area, and we will all still be part of the global network.

Thanked: 485Well, the whole lot came off this morning, I'm now completely clean shaven for the first time since 2003. First time shaving the moustache are was a bit tricky esp as I didn't trim at all first, just dove right in. I'm not sure I like my new look, I'm glad the idea is to grow it back!
Question, are you allowed to grow a moustache, soul patch and goatee all at the same time (my normal config) as long as they don't all join up together?Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
