Josh Just Shaved With the 12/8" Christmas Razor!!!! - Pics Included as Requested
Well it is freakin amazing, I love it and it is everything I could have imagined and more! The jewels were just over the top. It is a great shaver and really not much more different than a heavy 8/8 or 9/8 other than the fact that it weighs like 3 or 4 times as much at least. That weight does power it down the face for a great shave. Luckily my custom Tony Miller strop was just big enough to be wider than razor and long enough to give a good stropping. I did a great 2 pass shave with no nicks or cuts. You will notice that I am not stretching the skin much...with the weight of this blade it pretty much does it for me which is another bonus
well here are the pics:

Nothing quite like shaving with a splitting wedge, huh? Looks super. When I grow up, I'mma make me one like that, only 2/3 size.

something just occurred to me....where do I go from here lol???? I cant really imagine going bigger...and 8/8s arent really that big anymore now...9/8s arent really big either...I certainly cant go smaller than 8/8. I guess I will have to concentrate on nice old razors with character and stories behind them??? I am extremely happy...but feel like somehow some weird quest as ended and a little lost lol...I'll need some ideas about what to look for in my next razor?
