Quick Threading Story
As everyone gets ready for dinner over at my place and I am stuck watching the kids - let me tell you a quick story:
Wife wants her eyebrows done. Her local place is swamped being new years eve and all - it's a no go.
We go to a new place, and she gets her brows "threaded." I chuckle and laugh as she squirms - what a wimp !!
When all was said and done - my wife states, "ok, your turn!" "What are you high? I don't need any threading done!," says I.
Turns out all my laughing saw her determined to have me on the chair to have my "bushy brows"... uh, "shaped!"
.
..
....
I lasted all of two pulls!!
Dang her!! Vindication BITES lol!!David

Thanked: 334David, it takes a real man to own up to his/her/its/their femininity...I think(?)
I'll give you props for having the chutzpah to sit in the chair.
However, I'm revoking your Man Card for letting your wife manipulate you like that.
Sorry, but it was a lose/lose proposition for you.

I just learned about this in the last year.
I can't imagine paying someone to do it. If I was poor and decided I wanted my uni brow changed I could see having a friend doing it.
Maybe it is like getting a tattoo and going numb quickly?
But here I am on a site dedicated to old technology used to satisfy societies ideas of perfect. Who am I to judge?

Well let me tell you guys - I am old enough or rather man enough to try just about anything, and not have my masculinity threatened by doing so! I am also old or rather not proud enough to know that when I am having a bad time... to get the heck up and leave !!
Some woman pulling 30 facial hairs out at the roots in one big swing lol... is NOT my idea of a good time lol!!
Yes MLA - the wife manipulated me into the chair, but I kind of wanted to know how it felt too lol. My getting up REALLY made her proud of herself though lol!! I guess we all should have known - she carry's a bigger knife than I do too lol .
A sharp blade has a whole new sheen to me now !!David

<.< i give you my respects for taking a seat in the torture chair. My lady never does stuff like that to me, but my brothers do. Still can't enjoy the taste of Tabasco ...
It's just corn syrup... Warm, blood flavored, corn syrup ...
