Free Sharpening! Limited Time Only!
Ok, before you get all excited, theres some conditions first .
I've got a new linen material I want to test out. I'm sending one out for testing and I'm testing one myself here. Trouble is I don't have enough razors to clean up and sharpen to make a good test base.
SO, IF anyone has any LOW END razors they want sharpened up, send them to me. Just cover postage to and from and I'll sharpen free of charge. By LOW END I mean fleabay specials that have a straight edge, no cracks etc. If they need major restoration work I won't be able to help. I don't mind running a dremel and maas on them but beyond that you'd need to find someone else. If you've got a maestro livi or a custom/fancy razor that's worth the bucks, then just pass me by and send it straight to Lynn. I will do new razors if they're something like the $60.00 dollar dovos but you get into the $100.00 and more razors and I get uncomfortable with all that bling.
I'll be doing this for the next several weeks only. I'll post when the offer is no longer valid. If you're interested PM me or email me through the forum links.

Glen,
Hmmm, I just got 200 new Dovos, where do I send them??
Just kidding <g>. Sounds like a great offer for the Newbies here needing a honing.

Just adding a post to move it back up the message queue in the forum. Several people taking this up. Not too many as of yet.

Thanked: 4TOP
Heck, I've got enough razors in my queue that I might even send you one. The question then would be which one.

Ok, I'm still going on this offer here. I'll probably wrap it up by the end of next week. i.e. get them in the mail to me by the end of next week and you're good.
I've had a chance to hone quite a few razors with this and have stropped them all on the new material. It tends to stretch a bit but with a little adjustment I think it can work out for a good linen option.
again PM me if you're interested. the end of next week will do it.

This offer is officially closed. Those who've PM'd me already are ok for the offer. Anyone else I'll go back to my regular rates at this point. I'll get out the razors I have in as timely a fashion as I can manage.
Thanks to everyone who responded and thanks for the many compliments I'ver received via email, pm. etc.

Thanked: 13Well, I'm glad I took up this offer when I did Must mention what a great job you did on my razors Now I know what a really sharp blade feels like, so I now have something to measure my own honing against (not that anything has come close yet, but I'm getting better everytime).
Once again, I great offer, and I'm glad to be part of such a helpful group.
