Would a blade this sharp actually slice off your face?
Check this out.
With something THAT sharp, I can imagine what would be typical pressure with a straight would actually remove a layer of skin with the stubble pretty easily...

Thanked: 1263All in all it may be an extremely sharp blade, fine for surgical use and cutting, but I doubt the smoothness would be anything to write home about. Personally, I'll stick with tradition

I don't think you'll have to worry about it as a shaving medium as it's made for commercial cutting use.

Oh I'm not worried nor am I expecting to shave with such a thing. But it's somewhat a rhetorical question. Many have argued that you should get as sharp a blade as possible and after that it's all technique. This take the sharpness to an extreme and I might contend that it would be possible to shave with TOO sharp of a blade.
