You might try the Sportsman in downtown Golden. I've actually talked to that guy about razors, but it was years ago. I think they'll do it, but probably with a disposable bladed straight.

From Denver, it really is less than 20 minutes to get there because you just hit 6th Ave, go all the way into Golden, turn right on 19th, then left on Washington and the barber is on the corner on your right right before the Buffalo Rose (I think).

There's also Del's Tonsorial which is also on Washington, but across the street.

    Del's # is (303) 279-6172

But I can't seem to find the number for the Sportsman.

Or you could maybe bring your own straight, rinsed with desinfectant in advance?

I use to go to a beautiful female barber in University Hills across from Wellshire Golf Course next to the theater, her name was Karen I believe, of course it was about 8 to ten years ago she gave a great shave.

I purchased my first SR about 6 months ago, and have been frequenting the site here for info, but still haven't been able to get into it. Mostly because of the inability to get a good, sharp edge.

I was also looking for some help in the Denver, CO area. I myself actually am in Fort Collins.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jorge
