Thread: What is you favorite blade width?

Asking that is like asking a father with a large family who is his favorite child. I have them from 3/8 up, full hollow to wedge and I like them all on any given day.

I used to prefer the full hollows in 5/8 or 6/8, maybe because of the feedback they give, until I started using custom razors and older/larger Sheffield's. Now I find that a 1/4 hollow in 7/8ths would be my "if you had to choose only one" blade profile.

With my long experience of just over 1 month, I like the 5/8 full hollows. I have two of them (along with a 6/8 and an 11/16). I shave better with the 5/8's.
