Thanked: 1263Well, the day has come and gone...the time seemed to fly by. I'd like to thank all of you that joined in our little gathering, it was because of you guys that it was a success. It was great to be able to put faces to names and I'm proud to say I've made some new friends
Had a lot of fun with a great bunch of guys...It was truly my pleasure to welcome you all into my home. Thanks all for a wonderful day!

Thanks for hosting Rob, as said by others, it was a great time. Nice to put faces and names to screen names. I learned a lot, got answers to some questions, and am sure started some new friendships. So again, thanks to you and your wife for opening your home to a bunch of strangers, and sharing your knowledge.
When is the next one?My friends call me Bear.

Thanked: 4827I think it was pretty awesome. I think there may be a lot more emailing and PMing going on. It was pretty good to have been a part of it. I have to say a big thank you to Rob and his family.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Thanks Robert and Clair for opening up your home and hosting the Alberta Meet.
Tons of munchies and lots of drinks while we shared tips and tricks and general BS.
It was good to meet the guys face to face and spend some time comparing notes.
Some incredible razors, thanks for bringing them out for us all to view and drool over.
One of the many highlites was Shaun inviting everybody to play with his rocks and Pierre having to prove his rocks were bigger.
Jon, nice metal work on the razor and brush, I was hoping you were going to bring them for us to see up close.
I may have missed a few of the attendees but it was great to meet up with,……
